Enrollment policies and procedures for the 2010-2011 academic year
St. Margaret's conducts tours by appointment, and provides information to any family considering our school. If you would like an application package, please contact our Admissions Officer by calling 760-346-6268, ext 121; or sending an email to the link provided at the bottom of this page.

Our goal is to enroll children who will benefit from the philosophy, values, and purposes of its program. The school admits students of any race, color, religion, or national and ethnic origin and does not discriminate in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, financial aid programs, and athletic or other school administered programs.

Kindergarten through 8th grade decisions on admissions are based upon the following criteria: the birthday dates for Kindergarten, personal interviews with the family and the child, information from the child's previous school, and the applicant's performance during screening and evaluation sessions. It is also recommended that students applying for other grades meet the age requirements for that grade.

If you have not already done so, please contact Rosie Rivera in our finance office at 346-2697, ext 170 immediately. Ms. Rivera is responsible for all tuition billing procedures and will help you facilitate the FACTS Tuition Management Account for your family. Enrollment is not considered complete until this is finalized. Her number is (760) 346-2697, ext. 170.

Please provide us with a copy of the most recent Immunization record for your child. You can mail it to our office at the address listed below. If you prefer, you can request your doctor's office to fax a copy directly to us at 836-3267. TB tests are not required unless your child is considered "at risk."

Please provide us with a copy of your child's birth certificate. Again, you can mail this to our office, or fax a copy directly to us.

Lockers and cubbies are not provided for Middle School students. It is strongly suggested each student's backpack be the plastic box style with retractable handle and cover sold at Staples/Office Depot/Office Max ($19- $22). All boxes will be lined up in grade specific areas and will serve as "lockers" for quicker access between classes. ADD NAME TO FRONT. Decorative/suitcase style backpacks are cumbersome and not recommended.
